Screen Time Limits for School Children: What Actually Works

The Indian Academy of Pediatrics recommends zero screen time below age 2, less than one hour for ages 2-5, less than two hours for ages 6-10, and self-regulated, balanced use thereafter. Educational content is not a free pass.
The simple home rule that works
No screens before school. No screens at meals. No screens in the bedroom. Inside those three rules, age-appropriate use is fine. The structure of when matters more than the count of minutes.
