Admission at Yajur Public School
Admissions for 2026–27 are open from Pre-KG to Class 9. The process is deliberately simple, and the school office will walk your family through each stage.
Age eligibility
Admissions are open from Pre-KG to Class 9. Class placement is determined by the child's age as of 1 June of the academic year.
Registration
Send an enquiry online or visit the school office during working hours. You will be guided through the registration form and given an appointment for the campus visit.
Note: Registration does not guarantee admission and is subject to seat availability and assessment performance.
Interaction & assessment
Pre-KG to Sr KG
A friendly, informal interaction is conducted to observe basic development. This includes:
Class 1 and above
Students take a short written assessment in the core subjects:
No external books or syllabus are required: the assessment evaluates basic understanding and school readiness.
Final admission & fee submission
Once your child is offered a seat, you will receive an admission confirmation and fee schedule. The admission fee must be submitted within the due date to reserve the seat.

- Birth certificate (original + copy)
- Passport-size photographs of student and parents
- Aadhaar card / passport copy
- Previous school report card (if applicable)
- Transfer certificate (original)
- Medical fitness certificate
Fee guidelines
- Admission & registration fee: one time, non-refundable
- Term fee: payable in three instalments across the year
- Transport fee, as per route (optional)
- Sibling concession: available on request
