Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM)
A scheduled meeting between class teachers and parents to discuss a child's academic progress, behaviour and any concerns from either side.
Treat the PTM as a working session, not a report-card debrief. Come with two or three specific questions: 'Where does my child shine? Where do they struggle? What can we do at home this term to support that?'
